WHAT IS BOTOX?

 

BOTOX COSMETIC® is a purified protein injected into the muscles, giving your face a more refreshed appearance. It enhances your unique look without sacrificing the natural expressions in your face. You will start to see results in 3 to 4 days and these results can last for 4 months.

 

PRICING

 

Each client should book a consultation prior to receiving Botox treatment. During your consultation, we can assess your needs and provide education about Botox treatment and pricing. We use Unit Pricing to determine the cost of your Botox procedure as each person will require a different number of units. Our price per unit is $9. 

 

PREPARATION

One week prior to your appointment, please avoid all non-prescription blood thinning medications such as Aspirin, NSAIDs (Ibuprofen, Motrin, and Aleve). This will decrease the chance of bruising at the injection site. Please notify Catherine if you are taking any prescribed blood thinning medications such as Warfarin, Plavix, etc.

 

POST-TREATMENT CARE

• Do not lie down for at least 4 hours after treatment. This is to avoid the risk of pressure on the treated areas which can cause the Botox to migrate to another muscle group.

• Be assured that any tiny bumps or marks will go away within a few hours. If you need to apply make-up within 4 hours after your treatment, apply very gently.

• Results of your treatment may take 14 days to take full effect. Please wait until the 14 days has passed to assess if you are pleased with your result. I will see you in 2 weeks for a follow up. Please ensure you book this appointment if this is your first treatment for the particular area or if you have any concerns.

• BOTOX COSMETIC® is a temporary procedure and at first, you may find that your treatment results will last approximately 3-4 months. If you maintain your treatment appointments with the frequency recommended by the Nurse Practitioner, the duration of each treatment may begin to last longer than 4 months.
