WHAT IS TEOSYAL️®?

​

TEOSYAL️® is a range of injectable dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid (HA) designed to treat wrinkles, give volume to the face and also improve skin quality. HA is a naturally occurring sugar found in the body. When injected, it combines with the water in your skin to instantly smooth lines and wrinkles, enhance lips and restore lost volume to the cheeks and jawline.

 

PRICING

TEOSYAL️® is $550 per syringe. The number of syringes required depends on the patient and the desired treatment effects.

 

PREPARATION

​

To decrease the chance of bruising at the injection site, please avoid all blood thinning medications and supplements for 1 week prior to your appointment. These medications include Aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDS) such as Ibuprofen, Motrin and Aleve. Futhermore, some vitamins and supplements such as Vitamin E and Omega-3 can thin your blood and increase the chance of bruising. Please notify Catherine if you are taking any prescribed medications such as Warfarin, Coumadin, Plavix.

 

POST-TREATMENT CARE

• For the first 24 hours following your treatment, you should avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun or heat exposure, alcoholic beverages and blood-thinning medications as this may increase the risk of bruising.

• Be gentle with the area for the first few days following your treatment. You may wash your face and apply make-up. However, try not to manipulate or rub the area excessively.

• It is recommended that you sleep on your back for the first 3 to 10 days following your treatment.

• Facials and facial laser treatments are not recommended for two weeks following the treatment.

• If you do develop a bruise, it will resolve itself like any other bruise.

• The results of filler may last up to a year at which time re-treatment is recommended.
